S/V Hello World's Travel Log

she sails!

We're back from our first sail aboard Hello World! I can't remember a better weekend. Just... I dunno. I ran out of adjectives long ago. Fisher and my buddy, Ryan, from CA crewed and we met Ben and Gina aboard his Westsail 28 at the south end of Blake Island.

I'll have much much more to say once I get our pictures uploaded. Until then, check out Fisher's account and Ben's account of the weekend.

Glad to see you get her out of the slip for the first time. That's a damn good feeling. When are you looking at heading out for good?

Fish - glad to have ya on board. Of course.

Lee, boy you said a mouthful. Feeling her under sail for the first time was brilliant. Just brilliant.

We're targeting May to head out for Alaska. Then back to Seattle by August to do any work necessary for the open ocean before heading down the west coast in September.

Can't. Wait. But then, you already know how that feels don't ya?
